Recode: How tech companies can be more like Apple, Google, Facebook
Recode / TechCrunch / BuzzFeed The future of tech isn’t just about getting better hardware.
The future is about creating new products that people want to use, rather than just using them.
That’s why a lot of tech companies have been experimenting with different ways to make their products more accessible and personal to users.
For example, Apple launched the Apple Watch last year.
Google started doing the same with the Pixel.
And Facebook announced it is launching a social app called Messenger that allows people to chat with friends and family.
So what can these companies learn from each other?
Recode’s Kara Swisher talks with Apple’s Craig Federighi, Google’s Sundar Pichai, and Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg about the companies’ efforts to build products that are more accessible.
