How to Get Out of the ‘B’ Word
A teacher has taken the time to share with the kids in his school how to avoid being called a “bitch” on the job.
The lesson comes in the form of a poster called “Bitch” by a teacher at the South Shore High School in North Carolina.
It depicts a woman who has been dubbed a “bum” by her students.
According to the poster, there are a few different ways to be called a bitch on the playground: “You’re a bitch to people, you’re a pussy to people,” the poster says.
It goes on to explain that you can also be a bitch in the classroom: If someone is taking a break, you can take a break too, and if someone’s taking a shower, you might get in their way.
The poster also has a video to help kids remember how to properly respond to a “B” word.
It’s a simple lesson, and the poster encourages students to keep their mouth shut and act like the bully they’re supposed to be.
South Shore’s principal, Scott Puckett, told the Associated Press that he wasn’t surprised the poster had the kind of reception it did.
“We have some pretty bad students in our school and I’m not going to say that they’re bullies, but there are some bad kids in our classroom and it is unacceptable for a teacher to put them in that position,” Pucketer said.
“It’s kind of the same as if you were a bully.
I think it is an example of why kids need to have that understanding in the first place.”
In response to the incident, Pucketers office has sent out a letter to all of the teachers in the South Side High School District, instructing them to keep to the same code of conduct and to not use the term “bump.”
Pucketer also posted a message on his Facebook page saying that he had a conversation with the school’s principal and was happy to see that the posters had the same message.
“I’m very happy that everyone’s been working together to keep this a positive environment and to support the teacher in his fight against the negative messages that come out,” he said.
