F.C. Milan: Italia 2-0 Fiorentina

Italia-Fiorentino have beaten Juventus 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico, with Gianluca Di Marzio scoring the winner after the Italian side had already drawn 1-1 with the Bianconeri.

Gianlucia Di Marzo had already scored his first Fiorettino goal of the season, with his second a free kick in the first half, as Milan closed the gap to fourth on points.

Juventus had to settle for second place with five points from four games, while Fioretina are fifth.

Marek Hamsik was called into action for the first time since the 2-2 draw with Napoli in mid-March, with the Italian’s strike earned him his first Serie A goal of 2017.

It was Fioreto’s first Serie B goal since March, and their first league win since October.

Fioreto had won just two of their first 10 matches, including a 3-0 loss to Juventus in Turin in December.

The Nerazzurri are now unbeaten in Serie B this season.

After Saturday’s win, the two sides are still joint-top of Serie A, four points behind leaders Juventus.

Tottenham have a game in hand on the Nerazzurs, with a game at home to Juventus still to come on Wednesday.

Milan have won just three of their last eight matches in Serie A.
