A new school is replacing the one where my kid grew up

Posted January 17, 2020 09:50:03My son is in grade 5, and the school he attends in our neighborhood has been replaced by a private school.

It was supposed to be a new, public school, but now the parents and the teachers have to fight to keep the old building.

We have heard of school closings and closing of schools in the past.

But this is the first time we’ve had this kind of school closure in a long time.

This is not an isolated incident.

Last year, we heard of several schools closing for lack of maintenance, and this year, a school in California had to close after a fire damaged the building.

And now, the parents of one of the students at my son’s school have filed a class action lawsuit against the school district.

This lawsuit alleges that the closure of the school and the destruction of the old structure, coupled with the lack of adequate security in the building, lead to the death of my son.

In a statement to Polygon, a spokesperson for the Palo Alto Unified School District said, “Palo Alto Unified is aware of the pending lawsuit and is reviewing the situation to determine the next steps.”

We have filed an open records request with the district to see how many students and staff were at the school at the time of the fire.

We also filed an appeal of the district’s decision to close the school in 2017.

That case is still pending.
